Spectrum Photography was founded by Terry Ryan in 1982 and has been in business in the Sacramento valley for over 34 years.  We specialize in youth sports photography such as baseball and basketball leagues, soccer clubs, swim teams, cheerleading, volleyball clubs, dance and gymnastic studios, and many others.

John Muheim, a Sacramento native began working with Spectrum in 1984 as a staff photographer and became a full partner in the business in 2004. He continues to work in all aspects of the business from picture day to print fulfillment and everything in between.  Favorite team: St. Louis Cardinals.

Gary is a Sacramento native who has been working in Photography for 15 years. He took over as owner in 2018 when founder Terry Ryan decided it was time to take a break. Multi-talented, Gary not only runs all aspects of production in the office, but is one of the crew chiefs for picture day. Favorite Teams: San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants.

Terry K. Ryan is married, and lives in Granite Bay, California. They have a daughter (Para-Teacher) and son (U.S. Marine). Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Terry served in the United States Air Force and earned his college degrees in business/finance and social science. Favorite teams:  San Francisco Giants, and Denver Broncos.
